Raising the Roof by Sam House, Master
Brethren: I am pleased to announce the raising of Brothers, Brandon Jones and Dillon Trankina to the sublime degree of Master Mason. It is a testament to the hard work of our lodge officers, that we have performed the most intricate of degrees twice in the first month of the year. In February, we intend to raise Brother Hector Gutierrez as well. I congratulate all of our brothers on this important achievement.
In January, our Esoterica Committee met and discussed the program for the year. Many educational and enlightening topics are scheduled for discussion throughout the year. I am happy to see this group flourishing under the leadership of Worshipful Brother Jeriel Smith and Brother Bryan Godwin. I am certain the discussions and lectures will prove fascinating to all those who choose to attend.
We held our first Waffle Breakfast of 2016 and are planning to have them on every fourth Sunday. The proceeds will help to support our youth groups and the waffles are delicious. I encourage everyone to join us and enjoy some waffles at lodge.
